Master Yen Sid - A grand wizard. He sees your magic potential and entrusts your Mii character with the task of getting rid of all the monsters. He even gives your Mii a magic wand to help on your quest. You may speak to him in his tower afterwards to upgrade your wand for new worlds, or occasionally for favors.

- Yen Sid's name is "Disney" spelled backwards, but with two words instead of one.
- He has previously appeared in the Disney/Square Enix game Kingdom Hearts, and had a similar role to his one in DMW.
